Up to £44,799 per annum Arm is delighted to be working with a public sector organisation who are seeking an experienced Highway Infrastructure Engineer to manage developer-funded highway works for adoption as public highways. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with planning regulations and highway standards. Key Responsibilities: Approve highway layouts and improvements in collaboration with the Highway Authority and Local Planning Authority. Ensure highway works meet design and regulatory standards. Represent the Highway Authority in third-party projects. Address site and design queries, liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Oversee statutory processes and legal agreements for adopting infrastructure. Requirements: RQF Level 6 (Bachelor’s degree) in highways/transportation or equivalent experience. Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IHT). Experience in highway legislation, project management, and statutory processes. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
