The Opportunity: Hire Controller Location: Haydock Salary: £27,500 Contract: 6 Months FTC The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. The Impact you will have: Work alongside STH Sales & Solutions TL to ensure we fulfil the maximum number of cross hires that we can. No stone left unturned approach. Quote all standard cross hires within 1 hour. Ensure maximum mark up is applied to all cross hires in line with market figures and to ensure maximum profit for Briggs Equipment. Create the hire agreement and any necessary work on the system to send over to the relevant Sales Agent / Customer. On a weekly/monthly basis look for potential swap overs of Cross Hires for Briggs own fleet – decision to be made on a commerciality basis. Check all cross hires currently on hire to ensure they are in profit and if not investigate why. Build relationships with Suppliers to ensure cross hire process is quick and easy, being able to quote from set rates given and only needing to contact for availability. Obtain all relevant information on cross hired machines, including last service date, LOLER date etc. Look for new cross hire suppliers for existing offering – working on a tiered basis. Look for new avenues for Briggs to expand into – new offerings. With Marketing and STH Sales and Solutions TL & Manager – market new offerings to customer database.
