Similar Working Pattern Monday to Friday 7:30am until 17:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am until 13:00pm. The Role of a Hire Desk Manager As a Hire Desk Manager, you will develop strong customer relationships in a cluster of stores offering hire solutions with an array of top-tier products and equipment across all building service sectors. You will support coverage across London including Vauxhall, Old Kent Road, Catford, Charlton & Welling. What do you need to succeed as a Hire Desk Manager? Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. Commitment to continuous learning and expanding product expertise. Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed performance targets, prioritise tasks and consistently meet deadlines with a strong focus on finding solutions. Excellent organisational abilities, with a talent for balancing workloads and meeting service demands. Hold a valid UK Driving License. What does the Hire Desk Manager involve? Independently support the HSS dedicated area within our partnering builder’s merchant in the absence of the Merchant Branch Manager, providing expert assistance to customers with their hire needs while actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to secure repeat business, long-term loyalty, and optimise sales through effective sales techniques.
