The Private Client team is passionate about the brand and surpassing the expectations that it creates. Meeting and servicing the insurance needs of our high net worth clients. You will be the first and often only port of call for our key high net worth customers. Knowing our customers by name, you will be the face of our brand and provide the exceptional service that our customers come to expect. Creating and maintaining relationships that matter, not just selling our products but really understanding the customer’s needs and ensuring they are fully protected.A true client manager role means getting out and meeting our customers, visiting some of the most spectacular homes in the UK. Not only this but you will also be responsible for external networking to drive growth and business opportunities into Hiscox Private Client. A small but growing team, where exceptional customer service is a given and the intellect to digest complexity whilst building rapport is essentialWhat you’ll be doing:Building and enhancing both external and internal relationships Dealing with varied and wide ranging client contacts on a daily basisGetting to know and understand our clients – becoming their go to person for insurance needs and ensuring we are focused on the right customer outcome.Striving to bring in the right business, negotiating new business and renewal terms on dream homes, top end contents and unique collectionsGoing the extra mile when dealing with challenging situations, bringing the brand and values to life in every transactionMonitoring the overall performance of the book and ensure action is taken to correct any performance issuesEnsuring client data security and privacy is maintained at all timesOur must-havesGreat with people, able to build honest and effective relationshipsNegotiation skills with all levels and types of client and experience of having dealt with non-standard risksExperience of exceptional customer service and client managementExtraordinary communication skills with the ability to positively affect other people and to win businessStrong presentation skills to be able to pitch for business effectively and to influence decisionsAble to form strong relationships directly with our high net worth clientsSmart decision making when dealing with complex technical issues and ability to justify them even when facts are ambiguous and conflictingWill regularly challenge convention, introduce ‘non standard’ business and able to take decisive action on loss making businessDemonstrable drive and energy to move self and business forwardProven market reputation from experienceDiversity and Hybrid workingAt Hiscox we care about our people.
