Step Teachers are working with a Secondary school in Barnet that are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced History Teacher to start in January 2025. This role is a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for History and inspire students to engage deeply with the subject. As the ideal History Teacher for this role, you will: Have strong knowledge of the humanities curriculum. Organize and maintain the classroom and associated resources professionally. Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school. Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress. Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons. Comply with the school's policies and reliably implement them. Requirements for a History Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best. Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with learners. Demonstrated experience teaching History at a secondary level.
