GBP23,320.00 - GBP28,620.00 per annum (dependent on experience/qualifications) Hours : 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm Contract : Permanent, Term-Time Only We are currently seeking a dedicated HLTA (Intervention Specialist) to join our team at a specialist school in Banham, Norfolk. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of pupils with Autism through personalised educational interventions. The HLTA (Intervention Specialist) will work closely with the teaching and clinical teams to deliver targeted support to pupils across our formal and semi-formal educational pathways. About the Role: As an HLTA (Intervention Specialist), you will be responsible for leading specific educational interventions outlined in pupils' EHCPs, such as Lego Therapy, Precision Teaching, and Emotional Literacy. You will track and monitor progress, ensuring that observations are recorded and next steps are identified. This role will also involve supporting class teams with planning, delivery, and assessment of educational provisions. Close collaboration with the clinical team is essential to ensure interventions are aligned with any specialist support being provided. Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead interventions as outlined in EHCPs. Monitor and record observations, ensuring accurate pre and post-assessments. Support class teams with the planning and tracking of universal provisions. Provide regular updates for ITACs and Annual Reviews. Collaborate with clinical and teaching teams to ensure interventions complement the overall care and education plan for each pupil. Essential Requirements: Experience working in a school setting, particularly with SEND pupils. Strong communication, organisational, and ICT skills. GCSE English and Maths. TA or HLTA qualification. A passion for supporting pupils with Autism through creative and evidence-based interventions.
