HLTA (Level 4 Teaching Assistant) needed in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire (Temporary)

Do you want the chance to lead intervention classes for young students within Primary Education and support children in a 1:1 capacity?

Academics (a local education agency) partner with local primary schools in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire who are currently recruiting for a motivated and kind hearted HLTA (Level 4 Teaching Assistant) to support their teams for the summer term.

Could that be you?

If you have recently completed a BA Hons Degree in Education or you hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification (Cache / NVQ Level 4 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) then Academics would love to speak to you.

This HLTA (Level 4 Teaching Assistant) post requires confidence, knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum, the ability to maintain engagement from pupils and initiatice to create learning tasks / methods which engage and keep pupils on course.

What do we need from you?

- Evidence of your highest academic achievement (BA Hons Degree, Level 4 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning).

- References from your most recent employer and covering the past 24 months.

- A positive attitude.

- Experience supporting children across EYFS to Year 6

- Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate.

- The ability to commute to local schools in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
