Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need in a comfortable and familiar environment. This role is vital in supporting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and fostering a sense of well-being. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Help with meal preparation and planning nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social activities. Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Provide care for individuals with specific needs such as hospice care or those transitioning from nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the client and yourself. Requirements Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or assisted living settings is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting when required. Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules is essential. Basic knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition is advantageous.
