Registered Nurse – Home Aged Care (Brisbane North) Healthcare Australia (HCA), Australia's leading healthcare recruitment provider, is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Homecare team on a permanent part-time basis (15 hours per week). In this role, you will deliver exceptional care to older Australians within their homes across the Brisbane Northern Suburbs.

Role Overview:

This is a community-based role supporting our elderly customers in their own homes. You will be required to travel between clients, ensuring that their care needs are met with compassion and professionalism. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic care and supporting clients in their homes. Your duties will include: Conducting clinical and personal care duties with a focus on the individual needs of each client. Using expert clinical judgment, compassion, and resourcefulness to develop tailored care plans. Assessing and treating wounds. Monitoring and assisting clients with medical equipment and devices such as catheters and continence aids. Offering social and emotional support, ensuring a high level of holistic care.

What We Are Looking For: A qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 2 years of experience. Experience in Aged Care or Community Home Care is desirable. Current First Aid (HLTAID003/4) and CPR (HLTAID001) certifications, or willingness to complete within one month of starting. Proof of the right to work in Australia. A current driver’s license, access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance, and willingness to travel between appointments (paid travel). National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one. A genuine passion for providing care to older Australians and a commitment to helping them live independently at home. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Up-to-date COVID vaccinations and Flu vaccine (or willingness to obtain).
