Home Health Aides Evenings (Healthcare)
Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aides to assist with our geriatric aged client who resides in the Norwell/Rockland line. We are looking for dedicated, dependable individuals experienced with dementia. Traditions will be forming a permanent team for our client. This is a daily evening shift. Available Shifts: Evenings 5p-10p. Monday-Sunday HHA Job Responsibilities: Assisting with daily living activities, including toileting, incontinence care, dressing, grooming, nail care, oral hygiene, and skin integrity maintenance. Monitoring vital signs, facilitating daily exercises according to the client's care plan, performing range of motion exercises, and walking. Assisting the client to the dining room for her meals or confirming meals to be eaten in her room. Adhering to infection control protocols, wiping down counters, cabinets, doorknobs, and tables with antibacterial wipes. Assisting facility staff with daily support such as laundry, folding, putting away clothes, changing sheets, maintaining a safe and clean home environment for the client. Engaging with your client in fun, stimulating activities to create joyful moments, encouraging your client to participate in facility activities. Engaging with your client in meaningful conversations. Skilled in assisting with transfers, promoting the use of the client walker. Proficient in dementia care. Competently documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone throughout your shift. Reporting any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner.
