I am working with a wonderful and very highly rated residential care provider who are currently looking to recruit a Registered Home Manager / Care Home Manager for their medium elderly home / care home in the Kendal area.
The manager plays an important role in overseeing the daily operations of a care home or assisted living facility. This position requires strong leadership skills and a compassionate approach to ensure the highest standard of care for residents, particularly those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Key Duties for the manager role:
Oversee the daily operations of the residential facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care services. Manage administrative tasks related to resident records, staff schedules, and facility operations. Ensure that all staff adhere to best practices in dementia care and other specialised areas of support. Qualifications
Proven experience in home care or assisted living. Strong leadership skills. Knowledge of dementia and elderly care. NVQ LEVEL 5.
