What the role involves
- Provide confident, visible leadership to the home, creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment for residents, relatives and colleagues.
- Develop senior and wider teams, ensuring effective recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and performance management.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that meets their social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
- Maintaining responsibility for care planning, reviews and admissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements.
- Ensure robust safeguarding practice, with zero tolerance for abuse or neglect.
- Overseeing catering, activities and volunteer involvement to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Confirmed role details
- 37.5 hours per week.
- For this role, we are currently considering candidates who live within approximately 20 miles of the Care Home.
- 35 days holiday (including bank holidays) and an option to buy annual leave (pro-rota for Part Time).
- A strong pension scheme and life assurance.
