We are currently seeking a Home Manager for a small, state-of-the-art nursing home in Pulborough, West Sussex. The service specializes in providing care and nursing services to individuals with enduring mental health conditions and supports residents who may benefit from rehabilitation programs within a community setting.

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Nurse with an active NMC pin. Relevant care qualification – QCF Level 5 or equivalent. Proven experience managing a service of a similar size and client group. Experience in overseeing a nursing service. Registered with the CQC. Caring and compassionate leader with a proven ability to inspire and manage a team.

Your Role as Home Manager:

Lead the service’s day-to-day operations with 24-hour accountability for resident care. Manage resources efficiently, including financial performance and maintaining high occupancy levels. Promote independence, improvement, and choice for service users. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC and NMC guidelines. Act as a visible, approachable role model for employees, fostering a culture of support and teamwork. Develop and implement a continuous quality improvement culture using clinical governance frameworks. Oversee budgets effectively, delivering on key performance indicators for the service.
