We are looking for an organised Hospital Administrator with a passion for making a difference to others.

You'll be working full time, 40 hours per week at Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove, helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.

Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove is our new hospital for women in Staffordshire. The service will be opening in 2025.

There will be two wards at the hospital; a 20 bed Acute service for women and an 11 bed Highly Specialised Personality Disorder Rehabilitation service.

Crocus Ward will provide a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission. Burleigh Ward will provide specialised support for women with a personality disorder and other complex needs.

Purpose and summary of job:

To be responsible for the smooth running of the administration of the Hospital/Care Home as required, which includes maintaining adequate supplies, stock, equipment and in obtaining a high standard of record keeping. Duties and further responsibilities can be found on the JD.

An administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
