We are seeking a dynamic individual to step into the role of Hospital Director within our Specialist-led, multi-discipline referral hospital in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. At Swift, we have a large team of talented veterinary professionals including our referral clinicians, led by two European Specialists; hospital clinicians who support our referral departments and run our out-of-hours service; nursing and ACA teams who provide gold standard care to our patients; and our client care team, who provide our clients with the best service. Uphold Veterinary Hospital standards through active participation in the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme. Strategically plan and implement efficient systems and resources to optimise hospital operation, regularly reviewing and future-proofing existing processes. Identify trends and seize opportunities to drive business development. Develop yearly budgets based on projected income, caseload, and ATV. Anticipate staffing needs and recruit within expected cost-to-sales ratios. Translate key business priorities into a structured business plan, aligning with organisational requirements. Demonstrate strong people and HR management skills, making informed decisions on all people management matters. Exhibit financial acumen to support sound decision-making. Role Requirements: Minimum of 5 years management experience in a large commercial environment. Proven track record of delivering financial results in a commercial role.
