Delivering profitable growth and operational efficiency as well as ensuring all commercial opportunities are identified and mobilised where appropriate. Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the South West. We've built a reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding patient care over the last 40 years. We are constantly investing in our modern hospital, with three new state-of-the-art Ultra Clean Air operating theatres and an endoscopy suite. The hospital has 41 private en-suite bedrooms split over 2 wards and 11 consulting rooms within our Outpatients Department. Our areas of specialty include orthopedics and spinal surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, bariatric treatments, and diagnostic imaging. Our most recent CQC inspection was undertaken in July 2016, and we were enormously proud to be rated overall as Good, with Outstanding for Well Led. Job responsibilities

As a Hospital Director at our Taunton Hospital, you'll inspire and lead the hospital's leadership team and create a culture that embraces, embeds, and role models the 'We care' values & behaviours. You'll manage and develop diverse relationships working with consultants, GPs, the NHS, and other external bodies to drive a patient-centric culture, where care is proactively managed. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial and/or clinical experience in independent healthcare. Person Specification

Qualifications

As Registered Manager and a 'fit and proper person' as defined by the CQC, you'll ensure continued development of external support networks and be accountable for meeting all CQC requirements. Experience

Experience in independent healthcare, managing diverse relationships, and creating a patient-centric culture. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
