Hospital Director Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital | Operations Management | Permanent | Full Time Competitive salary, depending on experience 37.5 hours per week Main duties of the job

Operational performance of the hospital including full financial and budget responsibility. Delivering profitable growth and operational efficiency as well as ensuring all commercial opportunities are identified and mobilised where appropriate. Driving the Quality agenda, putting patient safety first and you will inspire your people. You will have proven experience of driving revenue growth and experience of accountability for budgets, PNL and operating costs. About us

Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the South West. We've built a reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding patient care over the last 40 years. We are constantly investing in our modern hospital. With three new state of the art Ultra Clean Air operating theatres and an endoscopy suite we are proud of the wide range of surgical services and treatments available. The hospital has 41 private en-suite bedrooms split over 2 wards and 11 consulting rooms within our Outpatients Department. Our areas of specialty include orthopedics and spinal surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, bariatric treatments and diagnostic imaging. Our most recent CQC inspection was undertaken in July 2016 and we were enormously proud to be rated overall as Good, with Outstanding for Well Led. Job responsibilities

As a Hospital Director at our Taunton Hospital, you'll inspire and lead the hospital's leadership team and create a culture which embraces, embeds and role models the 'We care' values & behaviours. You'll manage and develop diverse relationships working with consultants, GPs, the NHS and other external bodies to drive a patient centric culture, where care is proactively managed, the right conversations are had as a matter of course, and individuals are developed. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial and/or clinical experience, in independent healthcare. As Registered Manager and a 'fit and proper person' as defined by the CQC, you'll ensure continued development of external support networks and be accountable for meeting all CQC requirements, utilising and drawing on expertise within the relevant support functions where appropriate.
