We are currently looking for an incredible locum Pharmacist to work with our client in the Wirral area, in a large NHS trust. If you’re interested in a new challenge, then please see the information below!
Here are some of the key points:
Banding: Band 7/8a
Location: Wirral
Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9AM – 5:30PM
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £25 - £40 per hour via Umbrella.
Ward experience is essential.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
Participate in ward rounds to administer patient drug histories and liaise with patient families, community pharmacists and GPs.
Providing clinical expertise and being an educational resource for colleagues in relation to medicines e.g. doses, side-effects, alternatives etc whilst helping to address the public health and social needs of individual patients.
Manage the process of medicines reconciliation on admittance or following discharge from hospital and liaise with patients and community pharmacists to ensure patients have the medicines that they need.
Inpatient dispensary cover required/clinical screening.
