As the Development & Instructional Design Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience across Hostplus. By designing high-quality training solutions that promote knowledge transfer and cultural alignment, you'll enhance the skills and capabilities of our teams, fostering innovation, inclusivity, and regulatory excellence.
The opportunity
In this role, you will support the design of impactful, applied training strategies using best-practice design principles. You’ll collaborate closely with the Organisational Development Team and various stakeholders to identify critical training needs, support the development and communication of content and create learning sprints that inspire and help drive our culture of excellence. You’ll also support the utilisation and administration of our Learning Management System, ensuring optimal content utilisation and delivery.
The types of training projects you will support include but are not limited to:
Redesign of our suite of mandatory training creating a blended model that builds awareness and engagement with our risk culture and regulatory landscape
Supporting the refresh of our product and technical training content
Enhancing our onboarding experience including development of a suite of people leader content
About you
You’re a passionate instructional designer with expertise in adult learning principles, capable of translating complex information into engaging, actionable learning experiences. You have strong collaboration skills, enabling you to work across teams and understand diverse needs. Your technical skills include Learning Management System administration and content curation. You thrive in environments that require strategic thinking, creativity, and adaptability, particularly when creating learning solutions that resonate with diverse audiences.
