On behalf of our esteemed client, a new luxury hotel set to open in the heart of Belfast city centre in 2025, we are seeking an experienced and driven Hotel General Manager. This is a rare opportunity to lead an exciting new property and establish it as a premier destination for business and leisure traveler's. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, driving financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development while delivering outstanding service and operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Develop and implement strategies to achieve the hotels revenue, profitability, and growth goals. Align operational objectives with the clients vision, mission, and values. Analyse market trends and competitor performance to position the hotel effectively within its market. Operational Management Oversee daily operations, ensuring all departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, sales, maintenance, etc.) function smoothly. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and guest satisfaction scores. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Guest Experience Lead initiatives to deliver superior guest service, addressing feedback promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Create and implement programs to enhance the guest experience and promote loyalty. Financial Management Prepare and manage the hotels annual budget, ensuring cost control and profitability. Oversee revenue management and pricing strategies in collaboration with the revenue team. Review financial reports regularly, identifying areas for improvement. Team Leadership and Development Recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance for career development. Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain a positive work environment. Marketing and Business Development Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies. Build strong relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, and industry partners. Represent the hotel at industry events and community initiatives to enhance its profile. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry. Previous experience in luxury or high-end hospitality settings is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, financial management, and revenue optimization. Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
