Varied and interesting role Excellent company culture MTrec’s New Client Opportunity Our client is a successful and established hospitality group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are currently looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The job you will be doing; Providing the highest quality of service to guests Be instrumental in achieving hotel and business objectives Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel and oversee all departments Support operations management by advising on policy and procedures Ensuring all urgent matters are addressed correctly and in accordance with company policy Make sure all health and safety compliance is met throughout the hotel Develop staff and management through mentoring and coaching Conduct quarterly appraisals with the team Follow all recruitment procedures and ensure these are adhered to Create rotas for the needs of the business, and review all holiday requests to maintain cover Ensure all training is up to date and takes place Maintain cleanliness and address maintenance issues using a daily compliance diary Ensure the site adheres to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Licensing Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all standards are being met Ensure the site achieves a 5-star EHO rating Communicate effectively with the Area General Manager and the team About You Previous Hotel Management experience is essential. Have a passion for excellent service and enjoy working in professional surroundings Demonstrate a hands-on approach and an outstanding personality Be a team player and an effective leader by setting examples Be able to create a great atmosphere by welcoming customers Be confident and self-motivated, displaying a passionate commitment to the business Have a positive attitude and welcome and embrace change Maintain excellent timekeeping, attendance, and a professional attitude Work together with the team to ensure the business is the best it can be, and look for opportunities for improvement Communicate clearly to colleagues and customers, remaining calm, patient, and polite when receiving customer feedback Support, encourage, and motivate others
