Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is recruiting a General Manager for this recently refurbished 3/4-star hotel near Reading, catering for the busy M4 business corridor area. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Hotel Manager to oversee all aspects of this 80-bedroom property, which also features a busy Conference & Banqueting (C&B) operation, a vibrant restaurant, and a bar.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight and support to all HODs. Reporting to a Group General Manager. Management reporting. Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all Hotel operations. Ensure a consistent first-class service to hotel guests and ensure that company standards are adhered to. Ensure all sales activity is monitored in line with company policy. Monitor key departmental controls. Monitor and comply with all company and legal statutory requirements. Support the hotel in the achievement/maintenance of quality awards such as Investors in People.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as General Manager, Hotel Manager or Operations Manager in similar-sized branded or independent hotel operations. Stable career history.
