House Manager for HNW Couple, Oxfordshire & London, circa £80k + gpa depending on experience We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and forward-thinking House Manager to oversee the homes and staff of a High Net Worth couple. This live-out position is primarily based in Oxfordshire, with frequent travel to London and occasional visits to other properties in the UK and Italy. We’re looking for someone with positive energy, a can-do attitude, and a passion for creating welcoming and beautifully maintained homes. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, confident liaising with a wider team and working closely with the office-based EA to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for the Principals and their households. Bring a fresh, positive perspective to ensure the homes are always inviting and well-prepared for the Principals, including pre-visit checks and adding personal touches to make the properties truly welcoming. Supervise and manage teams of Housekeepers and Gardeners across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment. Coordinate schedules, duties, and staff rotations with the Head of Housekeeping. Ensure all team members are properly trained and re-skilled as needed. Oversee health and safety compliance for all properties and teams. Manage property maintenance, cultivating a network of reliable contractors to address issues efficiently. Lead redecoration and renovation projects. Develop and maintain a comprehensive Household Manual, including policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits, spot checks, and updates to ensure operational excellence. Oversee inventory management, including art, furniture, and other valuables. Coordinate care for family pets, ensuring their health and wellbeing are prioritized. Build strong relationships with the wider team, including the EA, to ensure consistent communication and smooth daily operations. Requirements: We are looking for someone who: Combines substantial experience managing private residences for HNW families with dynamism and fresh ideas. Has exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Demonstrates a proactive and creative approach to household management, with a meticulous eye for detail. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and responds flexibly to last-minute requests. Holds a valid driver’s license (a car can be provided if required). Role Details Location: Primarily based in Oxfordshire, with regular travel to London and occasional visits to other properties in the UK and Italy. Working Hours: Full-time, with flexibility to meet the Principals’ needs.
