Job summary We are recruiting two part time Housekeepers to be part of the Facilities team responsible for the delivery of a highly effective cleaning service for the patients, staff and visitors within Spencer Private Hospital.We are looking for a motivated individual with good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships. Assist Site Supervisor and Team Leader undertaking inspections and reviewing cleaning requirements. Support the clinical team in providing cleaning services and waste management in line with infection control policy. To undertake general cleaning task in line with the required daily duties and set cleaning schedules to ensure smooth running of services and efficiency. To work as part of the facilities team supporting the delivery of food and beverages to patients, & visitors. To complete Allergen training Yearly.Provides information, in accordance with standard coding, on appropriate food choices / menus to meet specific cultural or dietary needs.To ensure that uniforms are maintained and worn in line with local policy. Ensure ID badges are always worn.Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are strictly adhered to including all COSHH & HACCAP regulations.To adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure they reflect good practice.Liaise and communicate constantly with nursing staff regarding patient discharges and admissions.Correctly bag, tag, and remove rubbish to the waste disposal line with waste management policy.Report and keep the Team Leader & Line Manager informed of any problems in a timely manner.Report to porters of any repairs and maintenance in the building which is needed.Ensure security of housekeeping goods and equipment.
