About the Role: As a Housekeeping and Catering Team Leader at King Edward VII’s Hospital, you will play a crucial role in upholding our hospital’s reputation for excellence. This position involves leading a dedicated team of housekeeping and catering professionals to ensure that our patients and visitors experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, meeting regulatory requirements, and fostering a positive and efficient team atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Inspire:
Guide the housekeeping and catering teams daily to ensure that cleanliness and service standards consistently meet our 5-star expectations. Ensure Compliance:
Monitor and enforce adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. Uphold National Standards:
Implement and follow the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021. Collaborate Effectively:
Work closely with two other Team Leaders to streamline team efforts and enhance operational efficiency. Facilitate Communication:
Promote clear, consistent communication within the team. Provide Hands-On Support:
Assist the catering team as needed to ensure seamless service delivery. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Team Leader or Manager in a similar setting.
