These pivotal capital delivery managers will provide strong leadership and motivation to a team, ensuring the delivery of a significant programme of work (£60m/year) that meets quality, cost, and time expectations.
As the Capital Investment Delivery Manager you will:
manage and organise staff within the Capital Investment Delivery team to deliver investment works to council housing assets
oversee and manage all contract capital budgets, reporting to the senior management team as required
ensure effective management information systems are in place to identify and prioritise investment works, integrating all available records and data for estate-based planning.
As the Capital Works Pre Construction and Planning Manager you will:
manage and organise staff within the Capital Works Pre Construction and Planning team to ensure effective planning and execution of investment works to council housing assets
oversee and manage all contract capital budgets, reporting to the senior management team as required
ensure effective management information systems are in place to identify and prioritise investment works, integrating all available records and data for estate-based planning.
Key skills and experience in these capital manager roles include:
relevant industry qualifications in construction management, such as HNC, HND, or a degree in Construction or a related field
membership or associate status with a recognised professional body
strong operational leadership and management skills
a strong commitment to high-quality customer service and excellent outcomes for residents, with the ability to use initiative and engage positively with stakeholders
excellent project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously and preparing schemes for tendering in accordance with group or client procedures
understanding of CDM / Health and Safety Regulations.
