COM/25/303023 An exciting opportunity to make a difference has arisen in the Housing Assets team at Woking Borough Council. Housing Assets sits within the Housing service, delivering repairs and maintenance services to the Council’s housing stock via a procured supply chain. We are looking for a Capital Works Surveyor to join our team, focused on the delivery of planned maintenance including door and window replacements, roofing upgrades, stock condition surveying, and disabled adaptations. As a qualified Building Surveyor with previous housing experience, you will have responsibility for the delivery of several planned maintenance workstreams. A commitment to safety will be paramount, ensuring that our residents and our staff are safe during our works programmes. Resident engagement and exemplary customer service are core to the role as you will be working in occupied properties and achieving high levels of resident satisfaction for all completed works. The successful candidate will have housing experience, ideally managing disabled adaptations as part of previous roles. This role is mainly site-based, with an expectation of working between the Civic Offices and site at least 4 days per week. The Council offers in return a generous flexi-time scheme with the ability to take two flexi days a month, membership of the local government pension scheme, discounted health and leisure membership, plus many more excellent benefits.
