We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in

Westminster

to assist with the appointment of an

Housing Construction Commissioning & Contracts Manager , on a

3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay: £390.00 - £493.74 per Day Responsibilities: Act as a catalyst and work with stakeholders to improve contract management with existing contractors, setting a benchmark for supplier relationship management and ensuring accountability for contract performance. Support housing teams to bring in additional contractor resources, using market knowledge and incorporating resident feedback and wider council priorities to develop robust specifications and performance metrics for new contracts. Influence and lead people throughout various departments, being proactive and accountable for the delivery of workstreams. Qualifications: Professional qualifications relevant to the role, e.g. CIPS/WorldCC (formerly IACCM). Experience in commissioning/procurement or contract management with a detailed understanding of the end-to-end process and key inputs required for successful contract delivery. Ability and confidence to work effectively with people at all levels, both internally and externally, and independently to deliver multiple workstreams.
