An established law firm in Macclesfield is seeking a Housing Disrepair Lawyer to join their team. This role is ideal for a legal professional with at least three years' experience of managing their own caseload of Housing Disrepair claims and who is looking for an opportunity to grow within a reputable and supportive firm. Key Responsibilities: Manage a full caseload of Housing Disrepair claims from initial instruction to conclusion. Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and relevant case law, providing expert advice to clients throughout the process. Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and communicate effectively with clients, opposing solicitors, and experts. Work independently and handle cases with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and timely progression of cases. Maintain a high level of client care, keeping clients updated and informed throughout their case. Meet performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the efficient management of cases. Conduct negotiations and settlements, while preparing cases for litigation when necessary. Requirements: At least 3 years' experience in handling your own caseload of Housing Disrepair claims. Strong knowledge of Housing Disrepair law, statutory legislation, and relevant case law. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing a busy caseload efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
