service as part of the Newham Integrated Rough Sleeping Support Service team in the role of

Housing First Senior Practitioner . Where:

Hybrid Role - Working sites across the London borough of Newham with some home working. Full Time Hours:

37.5 per week Full Time Salary:

£31,529.41 - £33,708.58, Pro Rata for part-time hours. Allowances:

£4,072.06 Inner London Weighting pro rata for part-time hours. Responsibilities

About the role: Hold a caseload of Housing First clients from pre-assessment to case closure, working with them to identify and capitalise on their abilities and assets throughout their journey. Work collaboratively with other Housing First workers and the wider Newham IRSS team to ensure timely and professional identification of suitable clients and referral handling. Maintain strong partnership working with statutory, public, and third sector agencies to provide excellent wrap-around support to clients. About you: Considerable experience of working with people experiencing homelessness, poor mental and physical health, substance misuse, and other complex needs. Demonstrable partnership working skills. Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of all MS applications e.g. Excel and Word. Experience of data collection systems and information technology. Desirable but not essential: knowledge of Housing First pathways. What we will give to you: 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) rising by 1 day for each year of service (Capped at 30 days).
