Housing Repairs Co-ordinator North London Role is initially 5 days office based with a view of 1 day working from home Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract My client is recruiting for a Housing Repairs Co-ordinator based within the local Authority in North London and the surrounding area. Responsibilities

Diagnose repairs accurately, raise orders on IT systems to contractors, and book appointments. Work in a contact centre answering a high volume of calls to ensure targets are met. Handle phone enquiries in a professional, polite, sensitive, efficient, and timely manner, ensuring a high standard of customer care. Communicate effectively with other departments, agencies, and contractors as appropriate. Process service requests accurately in line with policy, providing advice and information to customers. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act. Requirements

Knowledge of the main issues affecting social housing. Previous experience working in a council or housing association. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a responsive repairs environment and housing management systems. Experience dealing with all aspects of building maintenance/repairs in a busy environment. Ability to process customers' repair requests methodically and accurately within the appropriate policies, procedures, and guidelines, meeting tight deadlines.
