Are you a housing solicitor passionate about delivering high-quality pro bono advice to disadvantaged and marginalised communities? Join us as the leader of our team of in-house and front-line advisors and volunteers. We provide a comprehensive, wrap-around service offering debt, benefits, housing, and legal advice. Our services include workshops, free law sessions, walk-in welfare sessions, and a by-appointment advice desk, ensuring accessibility and broad reach in the heart of the East End of London. We are committed to growing this service, and you could be the perfect person to lead that effort!
Key areas of responsibility include:
Input into the development and systems development for the delivery of programmes/projects;
Identification and application of sources of funding – grant and/or commissioned;
Management of programme/project teams;
Audit and compliance;
Formation and management of budgets;
Stakeholder management;
Programme and project reporting;
Project management and day-to-day operations.
Managing the advice service, the role will ensure all contracts are delivered to KPI standards and that the advice service team, currently consisting of a team of senior advisors and triage advisor, are well supported in reaching these aims.
