Description
Solid experience across a broad range of housing & property legal matters including assignment & succession, possession claims, tenancy breaches, non-occupation/subletting, anti-social behaviour, service charge matters/disputes, property disrepair case management, providing legal & commercial client advice on the same.
Full understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair cases and broader Civil Procedure Rules
Sound experience in dealing with all aspects of legal disrepair case management up to court attendance & representation.
Experience in claims settlement and negotiation
Experience of legal case management in wider housing matters (tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and rent arrears plus landlord rights of access).
Profile
A successful Housing Solicitor should have:
Qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 3 years relevant PQE.
Significant experience in property law.
Strong knowledge of housing legislation and regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
Job Offer
A competitive salary of between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
