We are currently looking for a Housing Standards Manager to join our Private Sector Housing team at Sevenoaks District Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will play a key role in ensuring that private sector residential accommodation in the district meets statutory standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of housing legislation and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including homeowners, landlords, and other council teams. Key responsibilities include leading on the delivery of housing enforcement standards, inspecting and licensing HMOs, and assessing properties using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). This role offers a competitive salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience, and benefits include a hybrid working model, with two to three days spent working from home and two to three days spent in the office.
