Housing Support Officer Salary:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm Contract type:
Full-time The role The role involves supporting tenants to achieve their housing and personal goals through tailored Personal Housing Plans and risk assessments. Key responsibilities include: Weekly client contact Assisting with tenancy management Budgeting and income maximisation Addressing debt and rent arrears Facilitating repairs Conducting property and health and safety inspections Ensuring regular review of risk assessments and support plans Collaboration with external agencies Addressing antisocial behaviour Promoting well-being and implementing harm reduction strategies Creating realistic housing move-on plans Managing tenancy breakdowns through referrals to relevant stakeholders Adherence to confidentiality, data protection, and organizational policies Flexibility to handle ad hoc tasks and team support as needed Compiling monthly statistics and maintaining service standards This post is subject to an Enhanced Criminal Record Check (DBS). What are we looking for? * Ability to listen and communicate effectively * Good written communication and numeracy skills * Basic IT skills * Full clean UK Driving License * Knowledge of Housing Legislation * Experience working in housing and providing services to social housing residents * Experience building strong partnerships with agencies like social services, police and local authority Why join our team?
