Their high-performance computing solutions enable users to solve challenging problems faster and more efficiently.

As an HPC Compute Engineer, you will be pivotal in designing, optimizing, and maintaining the high-performance computing infrastructure that powers their software solutions.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage HPC clusters to support computational workloads. Optimize existing systems for maximum performance and resource utilization. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within HPC systems and associated tools. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of software with HPC environments. Stay abreast of emerging HPC trends, technologies, and best practices. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and capacity planning for HPC infrastructure.

Essential Skills: Strong experience with HPC systems, including cluster management and scheduling tools (e.g., Slurm, PBS, or Grid Engine). Proficiency in Linux-based systems and shell scripting. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large-scale compute systems. Knowledge of parallel computing concepts and frameworks (e.g., MPI, OpenMP). Familiarity with networking protocols and storage solutions commonly used in HPC.

Desirable Skills: Experience in cloud-based HPC solutions (e.g., AWS ParallelCluster, Azure Batch). Programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages. Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Singularity). Understanding of machine learning workflows and their integration with HPC.
