HR Administration Team Leader

within the People and Education team could be just for you! What you will do as a HR Administration Team Leader?

You will be responsible for leading and supervising the 2 HR administrators including 121 meetings, performance development, and all employee relations matters. Leading the processes of HR Administration including recruitment, onboarding, and training. Prepare and issue offer letters and contracts. Carry out pre-employment background checks. Collate payroll information. Administration of MAT, PAT, Adoption, and Shared Parental leave processes. Coordinate the leavers process. Report on the status of training and learning activities. Maintain employee records and confidential employee digital files within defined retention parameters. Oversee the administration of hospice-wide training activities. Coordinate the administration of student placements. What experience do you need for the role of HR Administration Team Leader?

A background within administration related to either HR, Recruitment, or L&D. A good standard of general education. HR or recruitment background, including recruitment & onboarding, pre-employment checks, training administration. Experience of leading and managing a small team of direct reports - absence management, 121s, employee relations matters. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate within the team appropriately. Organize own and the team’s workload ensuring deadlines are met. Prioritize when there are competing deadlines. Communicate both verbally and in writing to a variety of stakeholders. What you will LOVE about the role of HR Administration Team Leader?

Salary: GBP 26,541 per annum. Initial 12-month fixed-term contract. 35 days annual leave rising to 37 after 5 years and 41 after 10 years (including bank holidays, pro-rata for part-time employees).
