The Role To provide administration support for: HR processes and records, staff training and development, local marketing and PR, college and school liaison.

Principle Responsibilities:

To administer recruitment, induction, staff review, training and development, disciplinary and staff exit processes. Be the principal curator of the company HR software information and HR records. Be the principal point of contact for the company subcontracted HR support provider. To liaise with finance on staff pay and pension issues. To liaise with IT ensuring all email accounts/distribution lists are current. Provide liaison to promote the company and co-ordinate apprenticeships with local schools, college, and universities. Coordinate Denchi representation at school employer presentations/parents evenings/Caithness jobs events/DYW “jobs Club” / College and UHI employer events etc. Identify, refer and administer follow up on opportunities for local advertising and sponsorship.

Experience and skills No previous experience of HR necessary though desirable

Strong interpersonal and team working skills. Discreet in handling information. Good planning and organisational skills. Attention to detail. Able to manage a large and varied workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines. Self-motivated. Microsoft Office fluency.

Salary: £26,500 Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week between 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 12.30pm Friday. Closing date: 5th January 2025 (may close earlier) To apply, please send CV and Cover Letter to alex.angus@denchigroup.com
