This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a centre of excellence in HR operations as we innovate our processes by integrating our London and Horsham teams. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing a comprehensive HR service to our HR Business Partnering Team. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of administrative, operational, and project management support. You will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of HR processes, manage human resources information and system transactions, and deliver professional and high-quality HR services. By maintaining high standards and adopting best practices, you will help shape our HR service delivery and foster positive outcomes for our employees and the business.

team is focused on maximising the return on our investment in people through the development and implementation of policies and practices that attract, reward, and retain high-quality employees. What You’ll Do: Your role will involve: Managing the employee life cycle, including processing new joiners, leavers, and transfers, as well as maintaining leave records and producing required documentation. Overseeing the maintenance of employee data using the Oracle HR system. HR Administration: Administer the entire employee life cycle process for joiners, transfers, and leavers. Oversee onboarding and first-day induction processes for new joiners. Serve as the first point of contact for employee and line manager queries regarding a wide range of HR issues. Collaborate with the payroll team to process salary adjustments and other employee life cycle events monthly. Support ongoing monitoring and management of the MiFID process. Manage the invoicing process for various HR services in a timely manner. Assist with year-end compensation processes. Maintain and enhance HR process manuals for improved accuracy and usability. Participate in HR projects as needed. Provide coverage for other Operations Specialists when required. Assist the HR Business Partnering Team in developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures. Data Management: Ensure the integrity of records in the HR system. Maintain the electronic employee filing system. Provide support for standard and ad hoc reports. Employee Relations: Offer note-taking support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures. The Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications You Need: Strong attention to detail and appreciation for data accuracy. Process-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving end goals. Excellent administrative and organisational skills, along with the ability to multitask. Proficiency in IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and preferably working knowledge of Oracle HR systems. Commitment to confidentiality in handling HR matters. Exceptional client service skills. Collaborative team player with a proven track record of delivering results. Self-motivated and capable of working independently towards agreed-upon objectives. Understanding of HR operational processes in a large organisation. Enthusiasm and curiosity for learning about asset management and financial services. CIPD qualification is a plus.
