HR Administrator – Operations & Reward Location:
Central Southampton (3 days a week) Salary:

Passion for administration and process-oriented Great Excel skills to support with reward & compensation Attention to detail with high professional standards I'm working for a professional services business who are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join their high-performing team. Your client group have high intellect and appreciate a high standard of work, communication, and service. This person will deliver operational support across the employee lifecycle requiring great professional literacy as well as a good level of Excel to support with compensation & reward activities. Key Responsibilities: Employee Lifecycle Management: Administer starter/leaver processes, including issuing contracts and leaver letters. Conduct pre-employment screening and follow up on responses. Maintain and update employee records and the HR system. Produce contract change letters and support flexible working requests. Draft the bi-monthly internal newsletter. Organize staff events, including the Christmas party. Reward and Management Information: Run weekly reconciliation reports to ensure data accuracy. Produce management information reports (e.g., headcount, absence). Administer wellbeing benefits and support engagement initiatives. Assist with monthly payroll and salary review processes. HR Support: Upload vacancies and schedule interviews. Support graduate recruitment programs and careers fairs. Manage the HR mailbox and escalate complex queries. Update HR timelines, checklists, and calendars. Process invoices and track probation reviews. Provide cover for team members and assist in formal meetings. Ideal Candidate: Demonstrable experience in an administrative role with a focus on data management and Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and a conscientious approach. Strong MS Office skills. Ability to manage competing demands and work to tight deadlines. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle confidential information appropriately. Experience in a HR department and using an HR database is desirable.
