We are looking for an HR Administrator to join the HR team in our head office. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to support our busy HR department. The successful candidate will play a key generalist role in a small, friendly and supportive team, with great opportunities for development. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: HR Act as HR first point of contact and administer the HR in-box Undertake all HR transactional/administrative requirements to ensure legal compliance Maintain up-to-date and accurate HR records within the HR System Administer contractual changes and other required correspondence and standard letters Absence management and reporting Benefits administration Recruitment Support the recruitment and on-boarding function of the department as necessary Coordinate interviews and support managers with the recruitment process Help manage the flow of candidates through the recruitment process, producing job offers, contracts and filing associated documents Support the on-boarding of successful applicants to the company and assist with our induction process Help support community events, such as careers fairs The following requirements are essential for this role: Strong administration experience Complete discretion and confidentiality Excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Good time management with ability to prioritise confidently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment A collaborative team player who is able to deal with change effectively IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office packages An eagerness to develop within the role. Support will be provided through a recognised CIPD apprenticeship scheme Desirable requirements: Familiarity with HR Software such as Iris Cascade would be beneficial, however full training will be provided as necessary. Prior experience of working within an HR team would be desirable Full and current driving licence The position is permanent, full time and the hours of work will be Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm however a degree of flexibility will be expected due to the nature of the job.
