People Team Administrator required in Westbury (Full-Time 1 Year Maternity Cover Contract). Starting salary around £25,000 per annum pending experience/hours worked. 40 hour week Monday to Friday. Our client, a multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with dealerships across the UK, is looking for a People Team Administrator to work a 1-year maternity cover full-time contract at their head office in Westbury. Reporting to the People Team Manager, you will provide essential administrative support to the People Department and your key responsibilities will include: Champion for business initiatives and uphold our client's values of being ‘rewarding’, ‘reliable and ‘respectful'. Ensure the accuracy of all HR and people team documentation, to uphold a professional and high-quality level of communication across the business. Support the team by drafting policies and proofing and reviewing documentation. Ensure GDPR is upheld at all times. Ensure our client's HR online platform is up to date and identify any missing data. Assist with the creation of internal eLearnings. Keep aware of the booking of annual leave across the business, highlighting to the head of the department when managers or team members need to be communicated with. Assist the team with hands-on tasks, such as behind-the-scenes preparation for company events, and new starter virtual events. Lead in ensuring office housekeeping, filing and keeping records up to date. Assist with HR tasks, such as onboarding and contracts. Act as an official note-taker in meetings and proceedings as required. Take ownership of certain administrative tasks, and report back to the team regularly. This role will be a great fit for you if you are a team player who recognises the successes of others, has brilliant time management and organisational skills, has excellent administration skills, can adapt to work in different situations, and is computer literate and confident using various software and technologies. Any previous experience working in human resources/office administration or the automotive industry would be highly beneficial but is non-essential. A UK driving licence would also be beneficial but isn't required. What's in it for you?
