We are hiring a HR Advisor to act as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries and offer guidance on various HR matters pertaining to the Employee Lifecycle. You will be partnering with managers and employees to provide comprehensive HR support, ensuring the effective execution of HR policies, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Contributing to the identification of continuous improvement activities within the team and wider business, working to ensure that the People & Development team helps position SBG as an Employer of Choice and develops a Workforce of the Future.**Key Responsibilities:**HR Policies and Procedures:* Ensure HR Policies & Procedures remain reflective of employment law framework and custom and practice.* Provide guidance and coach line managers to support with HR issues in accordance with the Company’s Policies & Procedures, best practice and employment legislation.* Provide guidance and support to employees on terms and conditions of employment, HR policy and practice.Employee Relations:* Provide advice and support on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.* Promote a positive workplace culture and facilitate open communication.HR Partnering:* Collaborate with HR Business Partners to implement strategic HR initiatives and projects.* Support the implementation of new HR processes.* Participate in and support existing HR processes (e.g exit interviews) as requiredPayroll Administration:* Contribute to the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.* Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies* Liaise with Payroll Manager to respond to employee enquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.HR Administration:* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases* Manage HR documentation, including contractual changes to terms and conditions* Ensure the Employee Handbook remains up to date and relevantTraining and Development:* Contribute towards the design, development and delivery of HR process and/or ‘Lessons learned’ training to line managers to drive continuous improvement / awareness of best practice within the Group.* Assist with the professional development of the other members in the team.**Required Skills/Experience:*** Ability to advise and work with stakeholders across the business* Excellent interpersonal skills* Effective influencing skills* Current knowledge of employment / case law developments* Team player* Practical in problem solving ability* Excellent organisational and administrative skills* Ability to prioritise and deliver workload against deadlines* Proficiency in HR software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.* The successful candidate will have the ability to travel to multiple sites depending on business need.**Our Benefits:*** Hybrid working – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home* 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days over 2 years’ service and 30 days after 5 years’ service.
