Be a part of the transformation! #WeAreCumberland About this opportunity: Cumberland Council is seeking to appoint a People Management Advisor to work in a busy HR Advisory Team. This role will form part of the advisory team who provide specialist Human Resource advice to Cumberland Council’s people management service. You will play a key role in ensuring that the department offers clear and transparent HR advice to managers and employees throughout the council. Key responsibilities Provide advice on people management in a timely and accurate manner. Build strong relationships with a wider range of different stakeholders. Strong communicator. Review and analyse HR metrics to provide solutions to aid service managers. Contribute to the development of people management projects to meet Cumberland Council needs. Help and support on strategic initiatives to assist Cumberland Council’s operating model and workforce planning objectives. Who we’re looking for: You will be a trusted advisor who can provide specialist and accurate advice to the people management service. You will be someone who likes working as part of a team but can use your own initiative to complete tasks. The ability to build relationships to help deliver positive outcomes for Cumberland Council and its stakeholders is essential in this role. You will have up-to-date knowledge of employment law and be able to analyse and interpret HR data to provide recommendations and tailored solutions to help services across Cumberland Council.
