About Your Opportunity:

As part of the NGUKL HR team, in the role of HR Advisor you will work alongside the Senior HR Business Partner to support the Cyber & Intelligence, NSS Operations, EMEA CIO and Technical Directorate, with HR related activities. You will work with the HR Operations team to ensure effective delivery of employee life cycle activities that supports the employee experience and builds capability in a growing business. This role requires a hands-on delivery of multiple priorities, with a consistent focus on attention to detail, whilst building strong relationships with managers and the broader HR team.

Your Responsibilities:

Support managers and team leaders with managing all elements of the day to day employee life cycle for their teams.

Support the Senior HRBP to develop and implement people initiatives relevant for the internal customer groups.

Build relationships and credibility to foster effective working relationships with employees and managers.

Work with our Recruitment partners, Senior HRBP and hiring managers to initiate and deliver recruitment requirements and support the HR operations team with on-boarding of new joiners.

Support the NGUKL annual activities for merit cycle, performance alignment and talent management.

Working with the Senior HRBP to support the engagement survey process, including the delivery of results and creation of actions plans.

Manage employee relations cases in accordance with the NGUKL policies and procedures, escalating to the Senior HRBP if required.

Support job design and benchmarking, working with the managers to establish appropriate role levels and pay bands.

Produce accurate data reporting and analysis for Senior HRBP and Business leaders.

Represent the HR function in the business, understanding the programmes and sectors context, strategy and environment.

Lead and/or support project activities where allocated.

Support change management activities as and when required.

Your Experience:

Demonstrable relevant experience at HR Adviser level, preferably CIPD qualified.

Experience of delivering people initiatives and managing HR projects.

Effective relationship builder, with an ability to develop strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Experienced in employee relations, including complex matters.

Strong numerical skills and experience of working with HR data.

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise.

Clear communicator, both verbal and written.
