The role is very fast-paced and a great opportunity to provide essential support to the HRBP and wider HR and management teams with 1st line HR queries. Working closely with the HRBP, General Managers, and senior leadership teams, you will ensure the day-to-day management and support is available to employees on-site. Seeking guidance from the HRBP or specialists as required to ensure the business operates in a safe, fair, and consistent working manner.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to travel to the company's sites in the region when required (pool car provided) to meet and build relationships with the senior leadership teams to understand their requirements. Flexibility to travel is therefore needed.
You will be keen to throw yourself into this role and provide support, where required, on a number of HR project-related tasks. As an individual, you will be pro-active, resilient, and self-motivated with a positive way of thinking, highly personable, diplomatic, professional, and possess exceptional communication skills. A very pragmatic, hands-on approach will be required. Level 3 CIPD as a minimum is required, and preference will be given to candidates that are degree educated.
Additional duties will be to screen and recommend to management candidates for shortlisting, understand blue-collar and white-collar recruitment trends, and be creative in looking at ways to attract talent. There will also be an element of coaching recruiting managers on effective induction and the onboarding process.
