Support the People & Culture Director and Lead to deliver the wider people strategy and objectives. Partner with business leaders and frontline people managers in areas of responsibility to determine and deliver local people plans. Deliver resource plans in areas of responsibility that ensure we have the right people, with the right skills and behaviours in place to support business goals. Coach and develop people managers in areas of responsibility to ensure they are accountable and effective business leaders. Deliver a comprehensive people service in areas of responsibility. Work with the People & Culture Lead to deliver local employee engagement plans and initiatives in areas of responsibility. Lead on all case management activity in area of responsibility. Support the tracking, monitoring, and improvement of our core People measures (KPIs) e.g., sickness absence, and implement initiatives to actively manage results in areas of responsibility. Advise people managers in areas of responsibility on the interpretation and implementation of HR policies & procedures. Monitor the application of policies to ensure a consistent approach throughout the business. Support the implementation and effective use of our wellbeing services, support, and education. Support wider People, change, or improvement initiatives and projects. Enable process efficiency through the effective use of technology and systems. Provide support to the wider people team to ensure efficient delivery of service to the business, including cover during holidays. The role is primarily based at Kirkintilloch but may require some travel to our other site in Bridge of Allan before we all transition to Gartcosh from quarter 2, 2025. We are looking for a positive and proactive team player who is confident working autonomously and delivering agreed tasks on time. If you have a good working knowledge of HR practices and at least 3 years HR experience, and are passionate about people, we would love to hear from you. Salary will be based on experience.
