Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries. Handling HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements. Supporting relevant Employee Relations meetings and hearings from investigation to appeal. Managing employee relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have, and managing expectations. Partnering with Management to build a sound understanding of the individual departments and teams to anticipate and respond to people and performance challenges as well as emerging business issues. Supporting Management with HR-related queries and Employee Relations case management from inception to completion. Overseeing recruitment for the business area ensuring all processes and procedures are adhered to and conducted in a timely fashion. Supporting the Operations Manager with all probation reviews ensuring that they are conducted in a timely fashion and in line with company policy and procedure. Providing support to line managers for the induction of new starters, with particular emphasis on ensuring that all new starters are made aware of key corporate HR policies, procedures, company benefits, and how these are implemented. Payroll
Overseeing the payroll process for the business ensuring all overtime, expenses, and all statutory payments are made, working with an external payroll provider. Skills Required as HR Advisor
Human Resources experience in a small to medium-sized environment. Competence to work in a sole HR role. Confidence in Employee Relations. Exposure to payroll. Benefits as HR Advisor
