HR Advisor

Job Title: HR Advisor Location: Omagh Salary: 30-32k Duration: Full Time / Permanent / On Site VANRATH are partnering with a large Construction company as they look to add an experienced HR Advisor to their high performing HR function. Reporting to the HR Manager, you add value to the Company as a member of the HR Department by ensuring the provision of a high-quality Human Resources service for all employees. About you Human Resources OR CIPD qualification (Level 5 minimum). 2 years' experience in a generalist HR Officer, Advisor, or similar role in an industrial environment. Driving Licence What you'll do Advise and participate in investigation and disciplinary meetings as required. Assist with developing procedures and implementing guidelines for line management. Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with onboarding and induction for new recruits, including managing documentation. Attend careers fairs at schools and universities. Coordinate all stages of recruitment, including updating job specifications, drafting/posting adverts, coordinating interview schedules, liaising with agencies, and booking meeting rooms. Coordinate occupational health appointments for employees. Cover payroll responsibilities as needed. Ensure compliance with HR policies, assisting in revising and implementing policies and procedures. Maintain and update HR databases for accurate and accessible information. Manage holidays and absences, providing advice and assistance to staff and management. Maintain and update records on the HR system, including updating entitlements for new recruits and generating reports. Participate in planning and delivering employee training as needed. Provide HR advice and guidance on routine queries across the company.
