You will work closely with the People Partner team to provide HR and administrative support to Safran Group Landing Systems in line with business and people strategies. You will advise, guide and coach managers on HR best practice, ensuring consistency in the application of the people policies across the business. You will be the first point of contact in all people related issues, providing support and guidance across the employee journey, from recruitment & on-boarding, HR policy and procedures, performance management, employee relations and exit processes. There is a strong focus on HR systems and reporting, with specific accountability for accurate management reporting and system updates. You will also contribute to the implementation of broader HR initiatives and support the delivery of our people and culture strategy. EMPLOYEE JOURNEY • Act as first point of contact for the function and provide day to day advice to employees on HR policies and process. • Manage HR processes across the employee journey, working closely with our Compensation & Benefits team. • Responsible for recruitment activities including raising job requests and contractor management. • Coordinate on-boarding activities for new joiners including employment offers, delivering HR inductions and organising Health & Safety training. • Support delivery of the annual HR Cycle: this will include Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management and Recruitment & Retention programs. • Provide support on employee relations cases including leading on absence management and occupational health referrals. INSIGHT AND INTELLIGENCE • Gather and analyse HR data from multiple sources, to create regular management reporting including headcount, resignations and exit interviews. Travel specificity This role is mainly Gloucester based, although there may be occasional travel to other UK sites. Candidate skills & requirements Essential CIPD Level 5 Minimum 5 GCSE's Grade A-C (9-5) including English and Maths, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years HR Experience at HR Advisor level or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a customer-focused mind-set. Awareness of Data Protection principles and confidentiality. Results focused, well organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and IT skills, including HRM systems and analytical ability. Desirable CIPD Level 7 (or progressing towards) Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and working with Trade Unions would be an advantage.
